About four years ago when I still worked for the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) I was in your Leading Turnaround Churches Seminar at ChurchSmart.  I didn’t expect to get much from that event.  I know we come from different spots on the theological spectrum… the material has been extremely useful… Just now I’m working on a project for the Christian Church (DOC) that encompasses people from all across the country.  One of the things I want leaders to know about is your book and your seminar… As I’m going through the book again, I keep finding things to which I say… Amen!  Or that’s right, etc.  Thank you for writing this extremely helpful resource.

After the meeting we started working on a Mission and Purpose statement.  The society unanimously accepted our current statements and goals.  As a church we are excited and expecting incredible things.  We are ready to face the future God has for us.

Thanks for a wonderful two days.  The LTC seminary was challenging, convicting, and encouraging.  I've been to most of the top leadership conferences in America, from Willow Creek to Saddleback, to Maxwell.  And they've all been great.  But in LTC you are speaking to the core issues and challenges of leading an established church through the murky waters of positive change.   I'm convinced you have your finger on the practical pulse of the Church and what it really takes to make it work.  The proven leadership principles of LTC are applicable in any congregation committed to a fruitful future.  Thanks again, and keep up your much-needed work.
