Thank you to everyone who graciously promoted and underwrote the expenses
for LTC training in 2004. It was a special honor to participate with the
Wesleyan Denomination here in the United States at each of their regional
leadership development meetings.
LTC: Looking ahead to 2005
In addition to the on-going LTC and LTT training we hope to expand in
the following ways:
Greater utilization of certified LTC trainers. Dr. Roger Ball
of Tempe, Arizona, and Michael Brandenburg from Columbus,
Georgia, are both excellent practitioners and competent
communicators.
BETA testing LTC training for the business community. Solid
leadership principles from the not-for-profit sector are
transferable to the for-profit sector. We hope to begin testing
this form of outreach this year. We already have commitments in
the Philippines and China. It is hopeful we can test the waters
in the United States.
An alliance with Building Champions, Portland, Oregon. Daniel
Harkavy, co-author of "Leading Turnaround Teams"
has much to say to the non-profit world. We are planning to partner in our
first seminar February 15th-16th in the greater Portland area.
We're expecting these shared endeavors to open many new doors.
